Advantages of Using Polypropylene Pipe for Ventilation Duct

It is capable of handling abrasive materials, we often use it for the extraction of contaminated air from our clients laboratories.

It does not leak, as it is welded together.
It has a smooth interior and therefore high flow rates making it easer to move air and contaminants through a system whilst placing fewer demands on the units.
Being a light weight material makes it easier to transport, install and cheaper to maintain than steel.

Plastic ductwork is initially more expensive than using mild-steel. The long term benefits are worthwhile. Plastic is far more durable (especially in weather), does not leak and is easy to maintain.
